It's our third visit to The Plough and as always the food, atmosphere and service was incredible. It's such a treat coming here and worth every penny as the food is so delicious. In our view the best food in the area.

The best Sunday lunch restaurant I’ve visited. The staff make the overall experience first class and the food is sublime. Quality aged beef with a huge Yorkshire pudding, immaculately cooked veg and a baked cauliflower cheese, finished with a delightful creme brulee made for the perfect meal. A large selection of non alcoholic drinks was a nice surprise. For the non drivers a very fine selection of wines (paired), beers and some very special spirits. Add some roaring open fires and there you have it, perfection.

Came here whilst on holiday in the area. The food was absolutely incredible with every dish having the same high standard. The owners were lovely and really welcoming. Overall, it was a fantastic night!

An excellent experience. The food and service were superb. The suggested wine pairings were very good. It was rather quiet midweek but the bar and restaurant are pleasant surroundings. The prices reflect the quality. Highly recommended. We shall certainly return.

What a fabulous Sunday lunch we enjoyed at The Plough last Sunday. The food was delicious and each course presented beautifully. The portions were generous and there was a good length interval between courses. Lindsey’s wine pairings were perfect . Thankyou for making our anniversary lunch one to remember .

Had an amazing dinner at The Plough. The food was excellent with good sized portions. The menu changes frequently but would recommend the partridge with onion risotto if available. Atmosphere in the restaurant was nice, not too noisy and we were made to feel very welcome by the owners. Definitely recommend.
